ICOMOS Canada invites you to the Yukon for its 2019 Annual Meeting. Join us in Whitehorse from April 30 to May 03 for an exploration of northern cultural heritage.
The ICOMOS Canada Annual Meeting is an opportunity to expand our shared knowledge and understanding of the full richness of cultural heritage across the country and to move the conversation forward both, nationally and internationally, on important issues relevant to the safeguarding of Canada’s cultural heritage.
This year’s gathering will focus on the co-management and interpretation of Indigenous places and cultural heritage, World Heritage nominations and sites in the Yukon, and the opportunities and challenges presented by reconciliation and climate change.
Please check back for additional programme, schedule and registration details to be posted soon!
