Mark your calendars! Our 2017 annual meeting will be taking place on May 24-27, 2017 in Halifax. The event is ICOMOS Canada’s contribution to celebrating the 150th anniversary of Canada, under the theme of Connection to Place. The Halifax Central Library, a new building that has received numerous national and international acclaims for its innovative approach to public space, will be hosting us. The event will be free and open to the public. It will include collaborations with traditional and new partners.
There will also be technical meetings with international and national experts focused on key conservation matters, in preparation for the international general assembly in India later that year. Registration for these will open in the fall, with a discount if you’re an ICOMOS Canada member.
